The COVID-19 community testing site at Blackhawk Technical college will be closed Wednesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day.
Testing will resume at 11:00 Thursday morning and run until 7:00 p.m. or until up to 1,300 tests are administered.
When the testing site opened last month members of the National Guard were able to test up to 900 people on Wednesday and Thursdays. They increased that capacity by 400 tests last week.
The site had to shut down early during it’s first two weeks of testing because supplies ran out.
