The Wisconsin Department of Community Corrections says a sex offender will be released Sunday to the Rock Valley Community Program on West Sunny Lane in Janesville. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office reports 48-year-old James A. Corning was convicted of second-degree sexual assault of a child in 2003. The conditions of Corning’s release state that he is to have no unapproved activities in the community without prior approval of his supervising agent, no contact with minors or victims, comply with standard sex offender rules and cooperate with GPS monitoring.
