Beloit Police release more information about the shooting death of a 19-year-old found Sunday morning.
According to a news release investigators believe the victim was shot sometime the evening of Friday, September 3rd.
Officers responded to the report of a shots fired in the area of Bluff Street and Portland Avenue around 9:30 Friday evening.
Officers found shell casings and it was reported that individuals involved fled on foot. They didn’t find any blood or hear reports of anyone being shot.
According to the news release, the victim’s body wasn’t found until Sunday morning due to it’s location and not being visible the night of the shooting.
