Chicago woman arrested for stalking and attacking ex boyfriend in Janesville

A 26-year-old Chicago woman is under arrest, accused of breaking into her ex-boyfriend’s house in Janesville and attacking him.
Janesville Police says the Rock County 911 Center received a text for help just before 3:00 Monday afternoon and traced the number to a home on the 100 block of Red Apple Drive. The owner of the home had been the victim of several previous stalking incidents.
Upon arrival about a minute late, officers forced entry and found Nicole Dunlap and the victim in a struggle. Dunlap lunged at an officer and struck him in the face.
After taking Dunlap into custody, officer learned she had broken into the victim’s home while he was at work and then attacked him when he came home.
At the time of her arrest, Dunlap was out on bond for three previous incidents of threats or assaults towards the victim.
Dunlap faces new charges of felony bail jumping, two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping, felony battery to a law enforcement officer, felony intimidation of a victim, battery, criminal trespass to dwelling, felony strangulation, and resisting an officer.
