The unemployment rate for Rock County drops just below 3%. The Department of Workforce Development reports October unemployment slipped .5% from September. All surrounding counties in Wisconsin also saw a decline in unemployment from September to October. Green, Dane, Jefferson, and Waukesha county are all at 2% unemployment or less. The DWD reports the statewide unemployment rate for October was 3.2%.
