The Janesville City Council follows the lead of the Alcohol License Advisory in giving the thumbs up to Hy-Vee.
Council members voted unanimously Monday night to approve the amendments to the City’s ordinances the grocery store chain requires to renovate the former Shopko building.
The proposed Hy-Vee store which could be open as early as next fall will include a separated liquor store and a Wahlburgers restaurant.
