Organizers of a local mobile food pantry scramble to re-schedule rather than cancel altogether.
Coordinator Mary Gallup says the Second Harvest Foodbank mobile pantry at First Lutheran Church Thursday has been rescheduled for January 27th due to predicted cold weather.
Gallup says she’s worried about her clients as Second Harvest had to cancel another mobile food pantry earlier this month at St. John Vianney Catholic Church due to the extreme cold.
Second Harvest typically hosts mobile food banks at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Janesville on the first Monday of the month at noon and at First First Lutheran Church in Janesville on the third Thursday of every month at 3:30 p.m.
