Some vacant property in Beloit could be getting new life soon.
Community Development Director Julie Christensen presented a zoning amendment, comprehensive plan amendment, and planned unit development master land use plan to the City Council this week.
Beloit Meal on Wheels plans to build a 2,521 square foot office, storage, and food delivery building located on the corner of Maple Avenue and Shore Drive.
The Council opened a public hearing an heard first reading on two of the items before voting unanimously to approve the planned unit development.
