Police Chief David Moore says a lot of their training and discussions focus on use of force, helping those with mental health issues, knowing outcomes will be better if they train well. David Moore says officers go through scenario-based training, with some being quickly used in the field and having good outcomes. Officer Radloff helped take an armed, suicidal subject into custody without use of force on January 6th by using a calm, clear, and concise tone of voice, providing safe alternatives for the subject.
