A Janesville citizen’s complaint prompts action at City Hall.
City Engineer Mike Payne says data was collected on traffic volumes and crashes at the intersection of Linn and West Van Buren Streets after a citizen raised concerns about safety.
Payne says City staff are recommending that a yield signs be installed on West Van Buren Street.
The Janesville City Council is expected to introduce an ordinance ordering the proposed sign at their meeting on Monday night.
