Beloit police are investigating a shots-fired incident on the east side. Authorities say officers responded to a report of rapid gun fire a little before 9:30 p.m. Monday in the area of Summit and Royce Avenues. Police report a vehicle and home were hit by gunfire. Witnesses reported seeing a vehicle speed off. A number of shell casings were recovered. No one has been reported hurt.
