The Beloit police department has a suspect in the January 29th shooting death of a 19-year-old man after a high school basketball game. Beloit police say they’ve issued a warrant for 19-year-old Amaree A. Goodall of Madison in the death of Jion D. Broomfield. Chief Andre Sayles says in a news release, the police department appreciates the community’s ongoing support in sharing information about the homicide. Sayles says the police department has followed up on every tip provided. He adds the community will be informed when Goodall is taken into custody.
