A proposed Chili’s restaurant on the corner of Milton Avenue and Humes Road in Janesville is finally coming forward for City approval.
According to a city memo, when the Janesville Plan Commission meets Monday night, they are expected to set a public hearing for April 4th, for a conditional use permit for the project.
The property at 3315 Milton Avenue is the site of the former Perkins restaurant which was torn down in 2021.
Construction of a new Chili’s restaurant would require a conditional use permit as it includes shared private storm sewer infrastructure as well as a drive aisle connection to the neighboring property to the west.
