Russia’s war with Ukraine drives fertilizer prices up and could be having an impact on grain prices. Local farmer Randy Hughes says fertilizer prices were almost double that of grain, which has taken some fertilizer off the market. Hughes says he doesn’t know enough about Russian fertilizer production to know how much will be available. He says grain and fertilizer are temporarily off the market.
