Another candidate enters the race for Rock County Sheriff
Former Rock County Sheriff’s Deputy Craig Keller announced during last week’s County Board meeting that he intends to run for Sheriff.
According to a post from March 21st on his campaign Facebook page, Keller is running as an Independent.
Keller was a firefighter/paramedic in Orfordville and Footville prior to being hired as a Correctional Officer at the Rock County Sheriff’s Office in 2001.
Keller worked part-time as a police officer in Evansville, town of Milton and Clinton before being promoted to Deputy at the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.
He retired from the Sheriff’s Office in 2019 after 18 years of service.
The other candidates that have announced they are running include Democrats Captain Curtis Fell and former Sergeant Troy Egger.
