With an an average of more than 2,600 work zone crashes in Wisconsin annually, the Rock County Board of Supervisors works to spread awareness.
The Board passed a resolution declaring April 11th through the 15th Work Zone Awareness Week at their most recent meeting.
Jorgenson says the Department of Public Works is encouraging everyone to support Work Zone Safety and show their support by wearing orange on April 13th.
Citizens can submit their photos on the Rock County Public Works Department website.
