Former UW-Whitewater interim chancellor explains resignation

A survey on free speech rights leads the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater interim chancellor to resign this week.
Jim Henderson left his position Monday, and says he was one of several chancellors that had concerns about the survey which the Menard Center for Public Policy and Service at UW-Stout will administer via email
Henderson says free speech on the UW-Whitewater campus isn’t an issue, since students there hear a diversity of voices.
The Menard Center for Public Policy and Service was founded by the conservative Charles Koch Foundation five years ago.
