The Janesville Police Department mourns the loss of one of it’s own with the passing of retired Detective Dale Stutika.
According to a news release, Stutika was a 31-year veteran of the Janesville Police Department who retired at the end of last year.
During his career with the JPD, he held a variety of assignments, including Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Range Officer, Special Operations Unit member, and SWAT Officer.
Stutika’s funeral is planned for Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Schneider Funeral Directors in Janesville.
