A Beloit homicide suspect takes a plea deal in Rock County Court.
19-year-old Journee Weathers had been charged with first-degree intentional homicide in connection with the shooting death of 25-year-old Drevian Allen in the 1700 block of Porter Avenue in Beloit in June of last year.
In Rock County Court last month Weathers plead guilty to a reduced charge of first degree reckless homicide.
Weathers and two others are accused of getting into a dispute with the victim over the sale of a used car prior to the fatal shooting.
Weathers faces up to 60 years in prison at his sentencing on June 16th.
