The 2022 theme for the YWCA Rock County’s “Stand Against Racism” is We Can’t Wait: Equity and Justice Now!
Racial Justice Director Aimee Leavy says the event will be taking place Thursday at noon in Lower Courthouse Park in Janesville.
The keynote speaker will be Rock County Equity Manager Dr. Atiera Coleman.
Leavy says the Rock County Board of Supervisors has declared April 28th through May first as Stand Against Racism Days, and the City of Beloit has recognized April 21st as Stand Against Racism Days.
