The local area is invited to stamp out hunger at the 45th CROP Hunger Walk

The 45th Janesville Area CROP Hunger Walk has 17 teams joining this year and invites the local area to stamp out hunger April 24th. ECHO Executive Director Jessica Locher says 25% of funds stay at ECHO while 75% go to World Church Services. Coordinator Kathy Holcombe says World Church Services have projects around the world and respond fast to any disaster whether it’s war, weather or famine related. Holcombe says they’re able to be on the ground and work to help those people. She says many projects include them trying to working with communities to be more self-sustainable. The event meets at Cargill United Methodist Church.
