As COVID-19 moves from the pandemic to endemic phase, the Rock County Public Health Department continues to track the number of people being hospitalized.
Epidemiologist Nick Zupan says while there has been a slight uptick in the number of people infected with COVID-19, those who become severely ill or need to be hospitalized are at an all-time low.
Zupan says it’s still to early to tell the long-term affects of having COVID-19 although some individuals have dealt with respiratory or circulatory issues.
