The fire departments in Beloit and South Beloit team up to better serve both communities.
Beloit Director of Strategic Communications Sarah Locks says both City Councils have approved an intergovernmental agreement for fire chief and fire investigation services.
Lock says Beloit Deputy Fire Chief Jason Griffin will be spending about 10 hours a week in South Beloit until the agreement expires on November 28th.
Lock says the City of South Beloit will be paying for the services.
