Janesville police are investigating the theft from an ATM on the city’s northeast side. Police say a little before 4:00 a.m. Tuesday by a passerby reported seeing a truck with a rope attached to an ATM at Blackhawk Community Credit Union in the 3000 block of Deerfield Drive. Officers responded to find the truck abandoned behind a nearby business. Authorities say two suspects did gain access to the ATM and got away with some cash. Police are currently gathering evidence and reviewing video surveillance.
