Executive Director of Foundation, Marketing, and Community Relations Tami Scarpetta says the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval is a symbol of quality that reflects a health care organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality patient care.
Scarpetta says the accreditation process happens every three years.
Scarpetta says the onsite review was supposed to take place in October of 2021 but due to COVID-19 it was just completed the other day.
