The School District of Beloit is inviting members of the public to participate in the superintendent selection process.
A focus group will be conducted at Beloit Memorial High School auditorium on Thursday from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m.
According to a letter to district families, the information gathered will assist in preparing essay questions for the application process, developing questions for use during interviews, and creating a profile outlining the skills and characteristics sough in a candidate for superintendent.
Participants in the focus group will join other individuals and be asked to respond to questions prepared by the Wisconsin Association of School Boards search consultant.
Former superintendent Daniel Keyser recently left to take the superintendent job in Stoughton.
