The first half of the year has been productive for the City of Janesville’s Operations Division.
Janesville City Manager Mark Freitag says crews have already swept 3,482 miles of road despite the fact that there are only around 330 miles of road in the City.
The City also manufactured 716 signs, and repaired and installed 1,281 signs.
Freitag says crews have filled 3,847 potholes so far this year.
Crews have also cleaned 10,444 feet of storm sewer and 347 catch basins; and painted 162,127 feet of white and yellow pavement markings on streets and parking facilities.
