Democrat Clinton Anderson will go on to face Republican Jeff Klett in the race for Wisconsin’s 45th assembly District in November.
The Beloit City Council member easily defeated public school teacher Ben Dorscheid with an unofficial vote of 2,431 to 1,329 in the democratic primary Tuesday.
Current 45th Assembly District Representative Mark Spreitzer plans to vacate the seat at the end of is term as he’s running for the 15th State Senate District.
Wisconsin’s 45th Assembly District includes parts of Rock and Green County Counties.
