United Way of Walworth County accepting applications for ARPA funding

The United Way of Walworth County is distributing it’s second round of ARPA funding.
CEO Tammy Dunn says $100,000 in ARPA funding from the County was distributed last year, and applications are being accepted starting this week for another $75,000.
For this round, eligible agencies can request between $1,000 and $7,500 and may utilize the grant for assistance implementing COVID-19 prevention or mitigation tactics; technical assistance, consulting, or other services for business planning; assistance with payroll support, costs to retain employees or other operating costs; or assistance to those impacted by COVID-19.
The United Way of Walworth County was the first United Way in the country to receive ARPA funding.
