A series of open forums last weekend gave Beloit residents the opportunity to voice what they want to see from their next city manager.
Director of Strategic Communications Sarah Lock said that good communications skills, being immersed in the community, and a good economic background were some of the main qualities that residents were looking for during the forums.
Lock said now Baker Tilly, an executive search firm helping with the recruitment process, will put together a brochure and application process to send out to applicants.
Lock said the city will also be sending out a survey to residents so they will get another opportunity to offer some feedback on their future city manager.
