The City of Janesville is getting close to establishing the downtown tax incremental financing district that could be the key to implementing the Rock Renaissance Area Redevelopment and Implementation Strategy.
Economic Development Director Gale Price says the issue goes before the City Council Monday night at 6:00.
Even if the council approves the new TIF district it will still need to go before the joint review board next Thursday.
