A Milton school district employee has resigned over what police are calling inappropriate conversations on social media.
The Milton Police department was made aware in mid-September of the conversations between the employee and juvenile studetns.
According to Milton Police Chief Scott Marquardt, two juvenile students friend requested the staff member on an app, with one posing as a 22-year college student and the other posing as a 20-year old college student.
During the investigation, a conversation was discovered between the staff member and a third juvenile outside the district. According to Marquardt, that conversation was characterized as appropriate between adults, but inappropriate between and adult and a juvenile.
The department determined that no illegal activity took place and no nude photos were shared.
The Milton School Board accepted the resignation on October 10th.
