Cash bond is set at $3,000 for the 38-year-old Beloit man who’s accused of firing off a round into the air during an argument last week.
Christopher Baumann made his initial appearance in Rock County Court on Friday on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, intentionally pointing a firearm at a person, and disorderly conduct by use of a dangerous weapon.
Beloit Police were called to the 1600 block of Wisconsin Avenue shortly after 3:30 the morning of November 10th on the report of shots fired.
The victim reported that Baumann had been making threats prior to shooting a gun into the air.
The victim was physically unharmed and nothing was struck by the bullet.
Baumann is due back in court for an adjourned initial appearance on Friday.
