Janesville Choral Union presents “Elijah” a oratorio by Felix Mendelssohn.
Board Member Kristin Kresal says it depicts the life of the Prophet Elijah as told in the books of the Old Testament.
The concert will take place on Sunday, December 4th at 2:00 p.m. at Cargill United Methodist Church. Tickets are $12 in advance, or $15 at the door.
Now in it’s 142nd season, in 1881 Milton Choral Union gave it’s first performance, singing a variety of selections under Professor N.W. Williams of the Milton College of Music.
