Dog owners need to make sure they secure a permit before they use Janesville’s Paw Print Park.
Parks Supervisor Jason Schlungen says residents from any municipality can use the park, they just have to have a pet license before they can purchase a permit for the park.
Schlungen says a self registration at the park will let people get permits, with a daily use tag costing $3 and an annual tag will cost $15.
Schlungen says the park does have a special fenced off area for smaller dog under 25 pounds, but the park as a whole is open to all sizes of dogs.
Permit tags can also be obtained at the Clerk-Treasurer’s Office or the Parks & Recreation Division office, both in city hall.
