A 25-year-old Janesville man is under arrest, accused of trying to carjack people at Wal-Mart.
According to a news release, officers were dispatched to the report of a suspect trying to carjack people at Wal-Mart just before 10:00 Friday morning.
Investigation determined that the suspect tried twice unsuccessfully to open car doors and pull people out, but they were able to get away.
An officer viewing the surveillance footage at Wal-Mart recognized the suspect as Dallas M. Moore from previous contacts.
Moore was arrested a little over two hours later at the Super 8 Motel.
