The Village of Orfordville is eager to show off it’s new municipal building.
Village Clerk Sherri Waege says an $850,000 loan from the State Board of Commissioners of Public Lands made it possible to convert the former Burtness Chevrolet building on East Beloit Street into the new Village Hall and Police Station.
Waege says in addition to all the extra space, for the first time the village will have a community room to offer residents.
A pair of open houses are taking place Thursday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 until 4:00 in the afternoon.
