A lot of homeless pets are expected to find their forever home the next couple of weeks.
Business Development Director Katie Swedlund says the BISSELL Pet Foundation is sponsoring an Empty the Shelters event.
Swedlund says the adoption fees for adult cats and dogs have been reduced to $50 through May 12th.
Swedlund says prospective adopters do need to make an appointment at petsgohome.org.
Since the 2016 inception of BISSELL Pet Foundation’s “Empty the Shelters,” nearly 140,000 pets at 605 animal welfare organizations in 47 states and Canada have received second chances.
