Boaters are being asked to go slow on the Rock River in Beloit Monday night. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says the area becomes very chaotic and dangerous because of the large number of boats being used to view the fireworks display. Sheriff Robert Spoden has issued a slow-no-wake order from the West Beloit Rock Town Line Road Bridge to the Portland Avenue Bridge. The order will be in place from 8:30 p-m til Midnight on the Fourth of July.
