The Rock County Sheriff’s Office and State Patrol area investigating a fatal traffic crash at the entrance of Carver-Roehl County Park. Authorities say sheriff’s deputies, and EMS personnel from Clinton and Beloit responded to a dirt-bike versus semi-truck crash about 2:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 4900 block of South Carvers Rock Road. The sheriff’s office reports a 16-year-old boy from Darien was operating a dirt-bike in the park and was headed toward the entrance when he struck the passenger side of the semi, which was pulling a flatbed trailer. Lifesaving measures were attempted at the scene, but were unsuccessful. The Rock County Medical Examiner is expected to release the victims name later.
