All the ins and outs of Janesville’s financial performance over the last year are now available via the city’s Popular Annual Financial Report.
Assistant to the City Manager Nick Faust says things are looking good because for the fifth straight year the city’s general fund, which is how the city pays for the bulk of its services and programs, ended in a positive net change.
Faust says the city’s storm water utility and the transit funded also ended in a positive net change, which is a good sign that things are getting back to normal following the pandemic.
