The 24 year old man with who crashed his car into a boulder at Sidelines Sportsbar last week fails to appear in Rock County court after posting his $5,000 cash bond.
Giovanny Zendejas-Castellanos was slated to appear for an adjourned initial appearance Wednesday afternoon on charges of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, and Operate Firearm While Intoxicated.
During his initial appearance last Friday, the state voiced concerns about Zendejas-Castellanos having felony convictions in Michigan along with a extensive criminal history in both Missouri and Kansas.
Zendejas-Castellanos was arrested last Thursday after crashing his car and trying to hide a stolen gun in a nearby field.
Court Commissioner Mason Braunschweig ordered a warrant for Zendejas-Castellanos.
