Cash bond set at $15,000 for suspect who brandished knife at Evansville daycare

The 52-year-old Evansville man who’s accused of brandishing a weapon at a daycare center makes his initial appearance in Rock County Court.
According to online court records, Court Commissioner Jack Hoag set Dewayne Harnack’s cash bond at $15,000 Monday afternoon on charges of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, two counts of disorderly conduct, and three counts of bail jumping.
Evansville Police were dispatched to a day-care center Friday morning for a report of an armed subject.
Harnack is accused of entering into the childcare center, brandishing a knife, and threatening to stab his ex-wife in a dispute over money.
The ex-wife and children were not hurt during the incident.
