The Rock County Sheriff’s Office led a multi-agency tactical operation Thursday morning in Beloit.
According to a post on their Facebook page, five residences in Beloit were a part of a complex narcotics investigation, which resulted in a significant police presence throughout the city.
The post says more information will be coming in a media release, but there is no threat to the public.
Multiple agencies including the Town of Beloit Police, City of Beloit Police, City of Janesville Police, Walworth County Sheriff’s, Dane County Sheriff’s, and the US Justice Department Drug Enforcement Agency took part in the operation.
