Whitewater police are hunting for an armed man accused of holding a woman against her will for several days.
According to a news release, officers were dispatched to the report of a female needing assistance at a residence in the 300 block of South Janesville Street.
The victim reported that 18-year-old Yefferson Guzman Rodriguez of Whitewater held he against he will for multiple days and at one point pointed a gun at her head.
Guzman fled the residence and police deployed the SWAT team, but were unable to locate Rodriguez.
At this point, Rodriguez is still at large and considered armed. He’s wanted for false imprisonment, recklessly endangering safety, intentionally pointing a firearm at a person, and disorderly conduct.
