Rock County Sheriff’s Office hosts protecting places of worship training

Last weekend’s Hamas attacks that killed more than 1,400 people in Israel highlight the importance of an upcoming training being hosted by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Department of Justice.
Sergeant Andrew Reed says the protecting places of worship training was already on the books when the unrest on the Gaza strip started.
Pre-registration is required for the free event on November 29th from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Dr. Daniel Hale Williams Resource Center in Janesville.
Faith and religious leaders, members of law enforcement, and church emergency preparedness teams can sign up for the free program on the Rock County Sheriff’s Office website.
