The 42-year-old Janesville man who took a plea deal in September in connection with an October 2022 rollover crash has his sentencing hearing in Rock County Court.
Assistant Rock County District Attorney Mary Bricco said that Christopher Buol was driving without his headlights on before hitting a median and a pole, then striking her car, which went airborne and overturned.
Buol plead guilty to a single count of operating while intoxicated causing injury. An additional charge of prohibited alcohol content causing injury was dismissed.
Wednesday morning Judge Jeffrey Kuglitsch withheld sentence and place Buol on probation for a period of three years, with a year of conditional jail time in the Rock County Jail.
