The Walworth County Sheriff’s Office is providing an update on the deceased individual who was found a week ago in the town of Darien.
According to a news release, the female victim was found with fatal gunshot wounds about 20 years from Creek Road.
Last Friday, the victim’s photo was distributed to local law enforcement and she was identified as 41-year-old Cieara Berry of Milwaukee, who had been reported missing by her family.
Police believe Berry was killed in Milwaukee and the suspect dumped her body in Walworth County.
