The April Milton Common Council election begins to heat up.
Incumbent Lynda Clark has indicated that she has filed a declaration of non-candidacy, saying it has been a privilege and honor.
Milton resident Ken Smith is the first newcomer to announce his candidacy.
Smith owns a home inspection business, currently serves on the Plan Commission, and is president of the Police Commission.
Incumbent Ryan Holbrook says he’s still deciding whether he wants to run, and incumbent Eric Stockman says he does plan to run.
