Members of the community are invited to participate in one of five candlelight hikes hosted by the Ice Age Trail Alliance – Rock County Chapter this month and next at local parks.
Chapter Coordinator Dennis James says the first event will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Friday at the Robert O. Cook Arboretum in Janesville.
The event will feature a one-half mile hike, a fire in the 1850’s cabin, and treats and hot chocolate in the education center.
Additional candlelight hikes will be happening on January 20th at Beckman Mill Park, January 27th at Storrs Lake Wildlife Area, February 10th at Rockport Park, and February 24th at Rock River Heritage Park.
